London | Claude Conversation
This month, Claude Communities around the world are tackling AI's hard questions. We chose:
"What is AI doing to us?"
AI is powerful. But without us, it's nothing.
We are inviting you to join us for a conversation more about humans than AI. There's no panel, no pitch, just normal people talking it through in small groups.
We'll talk about topics like:
When this technology is no longer a novelty, what is our role and purpose?
Can there be satisfaction, and beauty, in simple repetitive work? (Must every task really be an Opus?)
What is the meaning of human potential in a world where "intelligence" comes in a box?
What historical precedents can we learn from? How did the world navigate e.g. computers? What did we get wrong? How did it reframe humanity?
If "taste" is the future, how do we help people cultivate theirs?
It's not just talk: two weeks later, on 30 July, we are running a Claude Impact Lab, a kind of purpose-driven hackathon where we build to solve this problem.
Hope to see you there!
