​Anthropic's team is flying into Nairobi, and we're building all day while they're here.

​Wednesday 2 September, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, at Hackhouse Africa. The day opens with an advanced training taught in person by Anthropic's own team. Then teams of up to five build until demos, with $100 in Claude API credits for every approved builder. When demos start in the late afternoon, Courtney O'Donnell and Samari Gilbert from Anthropic's team are in the room, watching what Nairobi ships and taking questions after.

​The brief comes from us. On 29 August, at Claude Conversations, fifty Nairobians spend an afternoon arguing about AI, work, family, and the rules, and the problems they pick become the build tracks. Tracks land Saturday 30 August; apply now and choose yours when they do.

​If you were at AI Mashinani in July, you know how this goes. 100+ builders came, 27 projects demoed, and the winning team built a tool that turns a shopkeeper's voice notes and M-Pesa payments into a weekly income report. That was one night. This time you get daylight and Anthropic in the room.
