September Startup Conversations in the Couve - Susan Bladholm
Susan Bladholm has spent 25 years building Portland and Oregon's reputation in the global marketplace. She co-founded Cycle Oregon, launched the State of Oregon's award-winning public relations program, staffed five governors on international trade missions, and served as Chief Marketing Officer for the Port of Portland and Vice President for Greater Portland Inc. She later led global strategy for Erickson Inc., a helicopter company specializing in aerial firefighting and large-scale infrastructure construction worldwide.
Susan brings one of Oregon's deepest civic and economic development track records to one of its most stubborn infrastructure challenges. Frog Ferry's route would connect Oregon City to Vancouver along the Willamette and Columbia. She'll join us July 21st to talk about moving a big public idea from concept to funded, the long game of regional coalition-building, and what 25 years of real relationships look like when you actually need them.
