International Women’s Celebration & Film Screening
"If Not Me, Then Who?"
Join us for an afternoon of inspiration, courage, and community as we celebrate women who have stepped up to face a need.
In honor of International Women’s Day, we are gathering to explore the ripple effect of a single voice. We will begin with one-hour screening documenting the life of Nobel Peace Laureate Leymah Gbowee in "Pray the Devil Back to Hell." As a young single mother living through the hopelessness of the Liberian Civil War, Leymah organized a movement of women that risked everything to demand peace.
Following the film, we will host a live panel of women who have embraced the "If not me, then who?" mindset in their own lives and careers. They will share candid stories of stepping into their purpose, overcoming doubt, and leading change.
This event is a precursor to Leymah sharing her message of hope and leadership in-person at the Bellwether Gala on April 16th in Draper, Utah. Funds raised go directly to disrupting cycles of violence for real people. Be part of the solution by securing a table at the Gala: https://givebutter.com/ML6BGD/bellwether-international-2
