Shaping Just Transitions by Systems Transformation
How can Europe steer digital and green transitions toward fairness, resilience, and long-term societal value?
This interactive miniconference, organised within the READJUST Horizon Europe project, brings together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to explore how large-scale system transformations can be guided toward more just and inclusive outcomes.
Rather than a traditional conference, the event is designed as a participatory exchange of ideas, combining research insights with collaborative dialogue.
READJUST Poster Walk
Participants will explore emerging research from across the READJUST consortium through an open poster walk.
This session provides an opportunity to engage directly with researchers, discover new analytical approaches, and discuss how evidence and modelling tools can inform EU policy debates on just transitions.
Interactive Workshop
The workshop forms the core of the event.
Participants will work together to explore how systemic transformations — including the digital and green transitions — shape inequalities and opportunities across Europe. Through structured dialogue and collaborative exercises, the workshop aims to move from research findings toward actionable insights for policy and practice.
Expert Dialogue
The event will conclude with an open Expert Dialogue, bringing together leading voices from research, policy, and practice to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of shaping just transitions.
Speakers will be announced soon.
