​Astra is the film emulation engine built on Cine IS — integrated directly into Colourlab AI on desktop, available as a plug-in for DaVinci Resolve, and running on your phone.

Rather than sampling an existing stock and building a look around it, we developed our own custom film stock and then emulated it spectrometrically — not only its color response, but its spatial modulation.
