The Computational Philosophy Club is launching its first private salon at MIT as we build our group!

• Joscha Bach PhD (California Institute for Machine Consciousness), Prof. Elan Barenholtz and Prof. William Hahn, Awu Chen (from Tangible Media @ MIT Media Lab), Alistair Pernigo (Multisensory Intelligence Group @ MIT Media Lab), Alif Jakir, and Andrew Moses (Opera of the Future @ MIT Media Lab).

The Computational Philosophy Club is focused on developing a community for students, researchers, and builders at MIT interested in:

• collectively intelligent systems, olfaction & augmentation, longevity, savant syndrome, unconventional computing & cognition, phenomenology & qualia, philosophy of physics, music cognition & visual arts, and much more!

• Food and drinks are provided!

Our developing advisory board: Curt Jaimungal from Theories of Everything, Andrés Gómez Emilsson from Qualia Research Institute, Complex Systems Professors William Edward Hahn + Elan Barenholtz, Pat Pataranutaporn from MIT Media Lab's Cyborg Psychology and Advancing Humans with AI, Harry Gandhi (1517 Fund Advisor in Residence), and McGill philanthropist Rubin Gruber.

4:00PM to 4:10PM: Joscha Bach's intro to building the California Institute for Machine Consciousness.

• 4:10PM to 5:30PM: Joscha Bach, professors Will Hahn and Elan Barenholtz discuss Cyberanimism, Digital Organisms, The Binding Problem of Phenomenology, Hyperorganisms, and the Autoregression Theory of Intelligence.

5:30PM to 5:40PM: Alif Jakir Lightning Talk.

5:40PM to 7PM: Awu Chen (Tangible Media) + Alistair Pernigo (Multisensory Intelligence) join a live panel discussion + Q&A for their latest work at MIT Media Lab on Multi-Modal Interfaces and Digital Olfaction.

7PM to 7:30PM: Andrew Moses discusses their work on how scent/olfaction can translate into auditory modalities.
