About Event

Converge is one afternoon built to do a single thing: get every corner of crypto into the same place and pointed at the same questions. This year those questions are policy, stablecoins, and AI, and none of them belong to any one chain.

Every corner of crypto converges in one place. Builders beside investors. Startups beside institutions. Students beside growing companies. Researchers beside operators. Two stages, one location, and a room built so the conversations that usually happen in separate buildings happen in the same one.

This is what ETHBoston and Solana Boston become in 2026. Same organizers, same standard, no longer split by ecosystem.

Three questions worth an afternoon

Stablecoins. The most boring and most consequential thing in crypto. Payment rails, treasury operations, bank integration, and what actually changes when dollars settle instantly and globally by default. Boston has a real claim on this one.

AI. Agents are starting to hold keys, move value, and make decisions without a human in the loop. Agentic finance is the part of the AI story that runs on crypto rails, and it is arriving well ahead of the frameworks built for it.

Policy. Market structure legislation is moving and the midterms are months away. The rules being written right now decide what everyone else in the room is allowed to build. We are putting candidates, officeholders, counsel, and advocates into sessions with the founders they regulate.

Additional programming spans DeFi, security, infrastructure, and market structure.

Why Boston

Boston is where crypto meets institutional capital. Fidelity, Circle, Coinbase, Castle Island Ventures, and Accomplice all operate here, and MIT, Harvard, BU, and Northeastern feed a steady pipeline of founders and engineers into the ecosystem. Very few cities have both. Converge is the room where the two sides actually meet.

Converge is part of Boston Fintech Week, which puts this audience in front of the city's traditional finance and fintech crowd, and puts that crowd in front of you.

The venue

Foley Hoag's conference center at 155 Seaport Blvd, on the 16th and 17th floors. Main stage, breakout programming, and dedicated sponsor and networking space, with harbor and skyline views.

After the sessions

The Converge after-party runs at Cisco Brewers Seaport in the open-air bungalow lounge, a short walk from the venue. It is open to everyone attending Boston Fintech Week, not just Converge badge holders.

Speakers

Speaker announcements roll out through August and September. Following this page or the Boston DAO calendar is the fastest way to catch them.

Sponsors

Sponsorship for 2026 is open, including speaking positions. Reach out to us!

Presented by The Boston DAO

The Boston DAO has run this city's independent crypto conferences since 2019. ETHBoston in 2019, 2023, 2024, and 2025. Solana Boston in 2024 and 2025, the first Solana city conference held anywhere. Converge is the two of them, merged.
