Beyond Vibe Coding: Let's Design and Build Fun Micro Animations
Alright, alright, what is this about?
You've seen them. The subtle (or not so subtle) interactions on apps and websites. The ones someone put heart and soul into. The ones that you barely notice, but makes it actually feel a whole lot alive.
Those ones. That's what this event is all about.
Taking the mundane and creating unexpected joy as people use your website or app.
What are we covering to make this happen?
We'll be going deeper with Motion (motion.dev), a JS library that helps you craft realistic and unique motion for apps and websites.
We'll cover getting set up. Go through example animations you can add in. Then we'll go through an example of building a delightful interaction and the important steps and tools to tweak and iterate until it feels just right.
Then you'll have time to pick a random interaction and come up with your own spin on something delightful and unexpected.
We'll have time at the end to showcase each other's work and vote on the most creative.

5:30pm - Doors open
6:00pm - Presentation and demo by Jeff
6:45pm - Everyone builds and hangs out
8:15pm - We showcase what we built
8:30pm - We wrap up, give high fives and start heading home.
Do you need to be super technical?
Some vibe coding experience is helpful. But, I try to make these as approachable as possible. Even if this will be your first app ever made, as long as you come with a curiosity to learn, you'll come away with something.
Ahead of the event, I'll share some getting started guides to ensure you are all set up when the event starts.
Buuuuut bring a laptop!
