Coinbase Ventures is bringing together founders, investors, and partners for an intimate gathering during TOKEN2049.
The program will begin with brief remarks from John O’ Loghlen, APAC Regional Managing Director of Coinbase, followed by a fireside chat featuring Shan Aggarwal, Coinbase’s Chief Business Officer and Hassan Ahmed, Country Director of Coinbase Singapore.
The session will conclude with audience Q&A and dedicated networking time to connect with the broader community.

About the speakers
Shan Aggarwal — Chief Business Officer, Coinbase
As Chief Business Officer at Coinbase, Shan Aggarwal leads the company’s global business strategy and execution, data/analytics, M&A, partnerships, and Coinbase Ventures — spanning all functions focused on accelerating growth and driving operational excellence. Since joining in 2018, he has led 35+ acquisitions and 500+ venture/strategic investments. Earlier at Coinbase, Shan led Investor Relations, managing capital raising and capital markets activity from the company’s 2018 Series E through its 2021 public listing. Prior to Coinbase, he was a venture investor at Greycroft Partners and management consultant at Bain & Company. Shan holds a B.S. in Neuroscience from UCLA.
Hassan Ahmed – Country Director, Singapore, Coinbase
Hassan leads Coinbase’s business in Singapore, managing strategy, operations, and regulatory engagement across one of Asia’s most vibrant crypto markets. Before Coinbase, Hassan worked at eToro and Coins.ph, gaining experience across fintech and crypto in the region.
John O’ Loghlen – Regional Managing Director, APAC, Coinbase
John is Regional Managing Director APAC & Country Director Australia. Prior to this, John was regional director for Australia at Ant Group, where he also led Alipay for Australia and New Zealand. John was director for Business development at Alibaba Group, after serving as Director at Gung Ho Ventures, a China-focused food and beverages concept platform.
