​🇹🇭 Join us for Cursor Build Salaya, a casual mini-hackathon with the Cursor Thailand community.

​This isn't a hyper-competitive hackathon. It's a relaxed afternoon to enjoy building things together, show what you made, and hang out with other builders and make new friends.

​We're taking over a beautiful two-floor café/bistro near Mahidol University campus in Salaya. Especially for Mahidol students.
And if you're not a student, and you don't live in Salaya / Phutthamonthon, you're still very welcome! Come anyway!

​Salaya is a quiet town about 20 km west of central Bangkok, crowned by the very instagrammable Phutthamonthon Park, with floating markets and sweet pomelo farms nearby. From Bangkok: bus 515 from Victory Monument BTS, or a Grab for around 200–300 baht depending on peak hours.

​Schedule:
- 10:00am–12:00pm — Arrive, chill, network, grab a coffee, find new friends to build with. We'll also do a short kickoff presentation.
- 12:00pm–2:30pm — 2.5 hours to build. We'll have a big screen with a countdown timer.
- 2:30pm–3:30pm — Presentations: strictly 5 minutes maximum per team (can present in English or Thai), with a countdown timer on screen.
- 3:30pm–5:00pm — Announcing winners, prizes, and more time to chill and make new friends.

​We'll share the build topic at kickoff, so everyone starts at the same time. Solo is fine too. Judging happens during the event itself.

​We'll provide Cursor credits at the beginning of the event so everyone can get started with plenty of tokens. Great opportunity to get acquainted with Cursor Grok 4.5!

​Prizes will be awarded by the official Cursor Community. Some of the judges:
• Luis Romero — Cursor Ambassador in ASEAN; software engineer with tech lead experience at Nike and British Airways
• Athita Senayai — PhD in Biology (Kasetsart University); teacher at Mahidol Wittayanusorn; AI enthusiast
• Shivek Sachdev — Cursor Ambassador in Bhutan; lecturer at Mahidol University; serial entrepreneur

​One cup of coffee per person and a piece of bakery will be gently provided by our hosting venue.

​We're also partnering with meaningful software services including ElevenLabs and Wispr Flow — trial codes to help you go faster by dictating prompts into Cursor, or adding voice to what you build.

​Bring your laptop with Cursor installed and logged in. New to Cursor? Come for the morning block — we'll get you unstuck and load your credits before the clock starts at noon.

​เราจัดงานที่คาเฟ่/บิสโทรสวยๆ สองชั้น ใกล้วิทยาเขต ม.มหิดล ศาลายา เหมาะมากสำหรับนักศึกษามหิดล — และถ้าคุณไม่ได้เป็นนักศึกษา หรือไม่ได้พักอาศัยในศาลายา / พุทธมณฑล ก็ยังยินดีต้อนรับมากๆ มาได้เลย

​ศาลายาเป็นเมืองเงียบๆ ห่างใจกลางกรุงเทพฯ ประมาณ 20 กม. มีสวนพุทธมณฑลที่เป็นจุดถ่ายรูปสวยๆ และมีตลาดน้ำกับสวนส้มโอหวานอยู่แถวนั้น มาจากกรุงเทพฯ: รถเมล์สาย 515 จาก BTS อนุสาวรีย์ชัยฯ หรือ Grab ประมาณ 200–300 บาท แล้วแต่ช่วงเร่งด่วน

​ตารางงาน: 10.00–12.00 น. — มาถึง พักผ่อน network จิบกาแฟ หาเพื่อนใหม่มาสร้างด้วยกัน และมี presentation สั้นๆ สำหรับ kickoff 12.00–14.30 น. — สร้าง 2.5 ชั่วโมง มีจอใหญ่พร้อม countdown timer 14.30–15.30 น. — พรีเซนต์ผลงาน ทีมละไม่เกิน 5 นาที (พูดอังกฤษหรือไทยก็ได้) มี countdown timer บนจอ 15.30–17.00 น. — ประกาศผู้ชนะ มอบรางวัล และ chill ต่อได้อีก

​เราจะบอกหัวข้อตอน kickoff เพื่อให้ทุกคนเริ่มพร้อมกัน มาคนเดียวก็ได้ ตัดสินระหว่างงานเลย

​เราจะแจกเครดิต Cursor ตอนเริ่มงาน เพื่อให้ทุกคนมี token เยอะพอสำหรับเริ่มสร้าง โอกาสดีมากที่จะได้ลอง Cursor Grok 4.5!
