​Generative Art Riso Zines 🖨️✨ Pre-Riso Design Jam — Part 1 of 3

​Join us for a community design session in preparation for our collaborative risograph zine print! No riso experience needed, just bring your laptop and curiosity.

​We'll work through creative prompts (Genuary-style!) to make 2-color generative art designs, with a focus on what makes artwork sing on a risograph printer. At the end of the night, everyone shares what they made.

​What to Bring:

• ​A laptop with your creative coding tools of choice (p5.js, Processing, etc.)

• ​Any generative art WIPs you'd like to riff on

​This is Part 1 of a 3-part series. Come to one or all!

​Part 2 will be done in tandem with the Art+Code monthly event register with the Art+Code event). Design Jam contact sheet share-back: May 6, 7-10pm, during Seattle Creative Code Art + Code monthly event at SiM, we'll bring riso-printed contact sheets of designs from the jam so you can see how your designs will print and make any changes before the final print session

​Part 3, Print Session at Pratt: May 21 · 6-9 PM (there may be a participant cap of 20? and a $ fee to go towards supplies and facilitation at Pratt, tbd) We will print a 7"x11" 8-page zine with everyone's designs, and print multiple copies so we can all have a few to share!
