Roatán Robotics Caribbean Camp
July 7–18, 2026 | BLAZAR, Roatán, Honduras
A 2-week hands-on robotics and environmental science camp for young makers ages 8–18, set on the edge of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. Students build robots, work with sensors, collect real shoreline data, and develop a final engineering project connected to reef monitoring and environmental challenges.
Hosted at BLAZAR inside Próspera the camp runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, with a 1:8 instructor ratio and a curriculum built around making, testing, iterating, and presenting, not passive lectures. By Day 10, students showcase a real project for parents, community members, and marine science partners.
Participants will explore:
Robotics fundamentals with VEX V5
Sensors, motors, and block-based programming
Real environmental data collection
Reef-focused design challenges
Team-based engineering and presentation skills
