Deep Steep: Snake Island Spring Day Party (Tea & DJs)
Celebrate the beginning of spring with a beautiful afternoon in nature - join us this Saturday, April 12 for a Deep Steep Party on Snake Island!
Spring Awakening Ceremony (ticket holders only): 2-4pm
Spring Awakening Party (open to all): 4-8pm

We will begin the afternoon at 2:30pm with a tea ceremony led by Melanie Mock and Elise Walter to nourish body and mind. Embark on a journey of flavors and senses with a unique curation of teas, paired with a musical mix. The ceremony time will include a brief meditation to connect more deeply with the tea and with nature. We will also explore some tea lessons and open up the circle to any questions and to share our experiences. Ceremonial Hapé will be available for those who wish to partake, facilitated by Jürgen Jürgenson. If you're attending the ceremony, please arrive at the gazebo by 2pm for your boat transportation, or meet us on the island by 2:15.
We will have picnic blankets to sit on, but please bring your own outdoor-friendly pillow or blanket if you'd like some extra comfort.
As there is limited space for the tea ceremony, please secure your ticket ASAP if you’d like to join! From 4-8pm, enjoy some melodic, deep, and organic house music from our lineup of 4 DJs, tea and healthy snacks.
The party is free if you can get to the island yourself! IMPORTANT THINGS:
--- if you need boat transportation to and from the island, please add the "Round-Trip Ferry Ticket" to your cart (this can be added in addition to the tea ceremony and party tickets) on our POSH event page here: https://posh.vip/e/snake-island-spring-awakening-party
--- there is no bathroom on the island, so go beforehand
--- bring your own water and a reusable cup or bottle if you'd like to enjoy iced tea
--- if you'd like to drink alcohol, please BYOB
--- this is a leave no trace party - do not leave any trash behind on the island. please respect the island :)
--- we recommend wearing hiking boots or something protective on your feet because there is poison ivy on the island! there are also lots of burrs that might stick to your shoes if you go into the taller grass
--- bring a picnic blanket, camping chair or hammock if you'd like to lounge
--- the party will shut down promptly at 8pm before it gets dark
--- there aren't actually snakes on the island (that we know of) :P
Note on pricing: We want to make our events accessible to all! You're welcome to give a small donation if you're able, so we can help cover our costs and make sure our artists get paid for their time. Any additional proceeds will be invested in future events :)
