Monad Blitz Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur, it’s your turn. Monad Blitz is coming to Malaysia for a high-energy, one-day IRL hackathon at Taylor’s University on 16 May 2026.
Monad Blitz is a fun, fast-paced, and beginner-friendly hackathon designed to help you explore Monad, the high-performance parallel EVM blockchain, through hands-on learning, rapid building, and real collaboration.
This is not just for experienced Web3 builders. If you’re a Web2 developer, a student, someone joining your first hackathon, or someone building your first blockchain project, you are absolutely welcome. You do not need prior onchain experience, just curiosity, willingness to learn, and excitement to build.
Expect a full day of workshops, mentoring, hacking, demos, networking, and community energy as you learn by doing and ship something real on Monad.
Why Join
A smooth entry into Web3
Monad Blitz is designed to be an accessible, low-pressure, and highly guided environment for developers who want to explore blockchain without feeling overwhelmed.
Learn by building
You’ll get hands-on experience with smart contracts, onchain application development, and the Monad ecosystem through workshops and practical hacking sessions.
Learn what a hackathon is
If this is your first hackathon, this event is a great place to start. You’ll learn how hackathons work, how to collaborate with others, how to turn ideas into projects, and how to present what you build.
Go from Web2 to Web3
Whether you work in frontend, backend, full-stack, design, or product, this is a great opportunity to expand your technical range and start building onchain.
Meet builders like you
Connect with students, developers, designers, founders, and local Web3 builders who are also excited about experimenting, learning, and creating.
Get direct support
Mentors will be around during the hacking session to help unblock you, guide your ideas, and support your first steps building on Monad.
Build your first onchain project
This could be your first hackathon, your first blockchain app, or your first time deploying on Monad, and that is exactly what this event is designed to support.
Add a strong project to your portfolio
Walk away with a real build experience, a project submission, and a stronger story for your resume, GitHub, and future opportunities.
Event Highlights
Experience the power of parallel execution
During the morning sessions, you’ll hear directly from Monad DevRel and learn about Monad’s cutting-edge parallel execution technology. You’ll also get hands-on experience by deploying your first contract to the Monad Testnet and seeing what high-performance blockchain infrastructure feels like in practice.
Build fast in the afternoon
The afternoon is all about high-energy brainstorming and hands-on building. Whether you create a small prototype or test a brand-new idea, the focus is on experimentation, creativity, and learning by doing.
Show what you can do
We’re looking for builders who are curious, proactive, and excited to create. This is your chance to showcase your technical skills, your ability to learn quickly, and your energy as a builder in the Monad ecosystem.
Find your people
Meet other developers, creators, and Web3 enthusiasts who share your interest in innovation and onchain technology. You’ll have the chance to exchange ideas, form teams, and build alongside a community that is equally excited to learn and grow. Food, drinks, and a fun atmosphere included.
