Hit Submit in 3 Hours (And a Bit!)
It does what it says on the tin: start with zero words and leave with a short story submitted to a literary magazine!
We’ll kick off with a quick revision of the short story form, two focused writing exercises to lock in structure, followed by a 50-minute writing sprint. After that, we'll give the words and ourselves a breather, then come back to polish, edit, and peer review before finishing by writing a snappy cover letter and hitting submit! All you need is your laptop and the want, need or urge to write.
This workshop is also for:
✔️Those struggling to make time to write (and/or edit and submit).
✔️Those who have a WIP that they just can’t find the time or motivation to finish.
✔️Those wanting to write and learn about the submission process in a supportive, creative and fun atmosphere.

Testimonial (❤️)
I participated in Jayne’s workshop: Hit Submit which was just what I needed at the time to boost my motivation. I discovered how to find my voice, learned to streamline an essay and get to the essential without losing the creative impulse. The workshop was dynamic, interesting, and fun! I highly recommend it.
