Future Coastlines: Data Meets Drawing Happy Hour
An evening of data, drawing, and dreaming big. Come for the drawing or the drinks. Stay to imagine what's possible.
Anew, Urban Ocean Lab, and Climate Central invite you to an evening of imagining what's next for our coastlines. Take a break from the panels and the hustle of Climate Week and join us for a fun and creative time. Pull up real climate risk data, then draw a future you want to see. We’ll provide the pens and paper—just bring your curiosity and ideas, big and small. No experience with data (or drawing) required. Drinks and light snacks will be provided.
Anew is a gathering space and discovery center for the social impact community.
Urban Ocean Lab (UOL) is a national policy non-profit working at the intersection of cities, climate, and coasts. We bring together creative policy ideas and diverse coalitions to help shape climate adaptation and resilience strategies in coastal municipalities.
Climate Central is an independent group of scientists and communicators who research and report the facts about our changing climate and how it affects people’s lives.
