The Work That Reconnects
In times of ecological, social, and existential uncertainty, many of us feel a quiet call: -to stay present rather than numb, -to remain connected rather than collapse, -and to act in service of life without burning out.
This Voices of Emergence circle, guided by Nathalia Manso, offers a gentle yet powerful introduction to The Work That Reconnects, a transformative group process developed by Joanna Macy and colleagues over several decades
The Work That Reconnects is for anyone who longs to serve the healing of our world in a more grounded, resilient, and life-affirming way. It weaves together insights from systems thinking, deep ecology, spiritual traditions, deep time, and the practice of undoing oppression - not as abstract theory, but as lived, relational experience.
Rather than offering solutions or strategies, this work creates space to: -reconnect with what we feel about the state of the world -strengthen inner resilience and emotional capacity -remember our belonging to the living Earth -rediscover motivation to act from care, not fear
This session will be experiential and participatory, held in circle.
