​Canurta Therapeutics and the International Business University (IBU) are collaborating on a one-day flagship event — SOVEREIGN 2026 — designed to explore the intersection of human performance, decentralized finance, and artificial intelligence.

​SOVEREIGN 2026 will convene high-performance founders, frontier technologists, institutional leaders, and students for a curated day of insight, capital strategy, and applied innovation. Hosted in partnership between industry and academia, the event will bridge research, venture building, and next-generation talent.

​The theme of sovereignty — biological, financial, and digital — is aligned with Toronto Tech Week’s focus on global competitiveness and technological leadership. As founders navigate AI acceleration, capital constraints, and systemic uncertainty, conversations around resilience, ownership, and defensibility are more urgent and relevant than ever.
