Defund ICE: Daily Senate Calling Accountability 🚫🧊
​Join a 15-minute daily accountability call to contact our elected representatives to demand that they reform ICE.

WHY IT MATTERS
The Senate is currently negotiating a DHS appropriations bill that determines ICE funding and enforcement priorities. This is our chance to push for real reforms, from now through Feb 13th. It's critical that we flood the lines for the next 2 weeks + demand reform to ICE!
​Here's our script:
​“Hi, my name is (your name), I’m a constituent from (state). My zip code is (zip code). I'm calling to DEMAND (Senator name) reforms the DHS appropriations to include:
- A ban on ICE agents conducting roving patrols
- A ban on ICE detaining & deporting US citizens
- A judicial warrant before entering homes
- Giving victims the right to sue the agency and individual officers in court
- A ban on ICE & DHS surveillance
- A ban on agents wearing face masks to hide their identity
- NO additional funding for ICE
- An abolition of ICE because its conduct is immoral + unconstitutional
Thanks for your time, I really hope (Senator name) is able to get these things included. My fellow constituents and I will be paying close attention to what's included and to how they vote on the bill. We'll remember come election. We promise. Thank you."
