You're in luck! We're hosting an afternoon of games at Welcome to Chinatown, and we'd love to see you there!

What kind of games?
If you've ever been to an escape room, a murder mystery party, or heard of games like "Dungeons & Dragons" before, this is a a combination of all three. We teach "tabletop role-playing games," (TTRPGs) which means all we need is a table, a small group of players, and our collective imagination.

And the best part is, we build events that everyone, from first-timers to expert players, will enjoy!

​More than you ever expected from a one-shot adventure

​✨ We'll have everything you need to play, from dice, to printed character sheets. What’s more, we limit our table sizes to create a more cozy, living-room like vibe!

​⭐️ Our warm and welcoming GMs will guide players through every moment, helping you step into our original world of Riftsong, run on the Daggerheart system.

​🌟 Our sessions are always human made, and crafted new each month. From the writing, to the handmade miniature sets, the 3D printed and hand painted minis, and the hand-drawn character art, our events are proudly low-tech!

​What you'll experience at a Counterspell Game Session:

• ​A completely original story, all in one sitting. Our adventures are finely-tuned "one-shots" - deeply satisfying plot arcs that are completable in one session. And because it's all driven by the people at your table, no two games are ever the same.

• ​Explore Riftsong, our vast, original cosmic fantasy setting. From space fairing mages to gritty brass laden machine guilds, musical weaponry and ancestry woven as scarves, flying sheep and amphibious wolves, Riftsong is a space of endless possibilities.

• ​Choose your hero, tell their story. We've built a cast of diverse and intriguing playable characters to suit your desired game experience. Each comes complete with a deep backstory that interlocks with the wider lore of Riftsong, signature equipment & weapons, and unique abilities.

• ​Make new friends IRL! All of our events are completely in person, with no screens. Take a break from notifications and doomscrolling, meet new people, and share a creative experience.

Sip award-winning teas grown at elevations up to 2,500m, made with sustainability at the core.

Lily's Treats, offering complimentary sweet treats! Founded by Lily Chin, a savory chef who makes Southeast Asian-inspired small sweets and snacks, Lily's Treats also offers personal and corporate orders, as well as private cookie decorating classes.

​Due to the limited seating and rigorous planning that goes into creating events, we do not offer refunds at this time. (All ticket sales are final!)

​Additionally, in order to create the best party composition at every table, we cannot guarantee that any group in attendance will be seated together – but we do accept seating requests!
