Warren Farm Nature Reserve Bioblitz 🌿 In Person Event – 25 April
🌍 Join the Bioblitz Challenge. Connect with Nature. Contribute to Science.
We're back! and this year, we're going bigger.
Join us for a fun outdoor experience as we explore the biodiversity of Warren Farm Nature Reserve in Ealing and contribute to a global citizen science initiative: the City Nature Challenge 2026.
This event is hosted by Regen City and The Green Londoner in partnership with Warren Farm Nature Reserve and Brent River Park. Together, we'll connect with nature, make meaningful wildlife observations using the iNaturalist app, and help put London on the biodiversity map.
This in-person BioBlitz is part of London’s four-day City Nature Challenge recording window (24–27 April), during which cities around the world join forces to document urban biodiversity. Your observations will contribute to open datasets used by researchers, wildlife organisations, and local councils to help drive nature recovery.
Whether you're a first-timer, a seasoned nature spotter, or somewhere in between, come be part of a friendly, nature-positive gathering that blends discovery, community and purpose.

Let’s move London up the leaderboard for City Nature Challenge 2026 - and have fun doing it 🌱🐝🦋
Warren Farm
Warren Farm Nature Reserve is a rewilded urban grassland and wildflower meadow habitat, recently designated a Local Nature Reserve. It is home to around a quarter of London’s breeding skylark population, which nest on the ground, as well as a remarkable range of common, vulnerable, and rare species of plants, insects, arachnids, and more.
The Global City Nature Challenge + iNaturalist App
The City Nature Challenge is an annual, global, citizen science competition to document urban biodiversity. The challenge is a bioblitz that engages residents and visitors to find and document plants, animals, and other organisms living in urban areas. The goals are to engage the public in the collection of biodiversity data, with three awards each year for the cities that make the most observations, find the most species, and engage the most people.
Participants use the iNaturalist app and website to document their observations.
