Digital public infrastructure for people and planet: Local pathways to global climate action
How do we build climate systems with people, not just for them?
This session, hosted in partnership with Beckn, World Resources Institute India (WRI India) and DPI for People and Planet Innovation Challenge ( DPI4PP) will showcase how Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) can empower communities and connect innovators, financiers, and governments to drive climate action across sectors — from agriculture and livelihoods to energy and mobility. Through live demonstrations, we will showcase DPI as a lever for reducing coordination costs, enabling modular innovation, and translating climate action from global ambitions to local realities. By placing the lived realities of farmers, youth, women, and frontline communities on the centre stage, the session will chart a path toward regenerative futures where resilience is co-created and not merely delivered.
This is a 2 hour 15 minutes event starting from 10:30 am to 12:45 pm, followed by lunch from 12:45 to 1:30 pm.
