Art FORM welcomes you to discover creative reuse in action! Sounds cool, but what is it?
A creative reuse store is a thrift store for arts and craft supplies. Mindful individuals, local businesses, industries and partners donate clean, reusable materials. Then, our nonprofit sorts, organizes and displays the items to the community for a low-cost donation, as well as an area with free supplies. Unused art materials are diverted from the landfill and used for artistic expression in the community – creative reuse – a win for San Diego.
Visit San Diego’s first and only creative reuse store and see an example of environmental stewardship in your community, which provides eco-friendly, affordable and accessible arts and craft supplies to the public. This is event is open-house style, and we invite you to come any time during our open hours.
Art FORM is a San Diego arts education nonprofit that’s been serving the community for 14 years, dedicated to promoting arts instruction and environmental stewardship. We regularly provide free materials through our workshops with San Diego’s Mid-City public schools and students and beyond with the community, and through partnerships and community events. Using public transportation, take Route 11 bus and get off on the Adams Ave. & Utah St. stop. We encourage biking, walking and carpooling.
