About Event

Hosted by Harvard Business School, this event will examine how current market trends—including the push into Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Foreign Entity Of Concern (FEOC) challenges, and the rise of non-wires alternatives—are shaping the 2026 outlook for the commercial & industrial segment.  Building on insights from projects for nonprofits, businesses and community solar arrays, we will review a wide range of project development topics, including details on the upcoming solar ITC safe harbor deadline of July 4, 2026 as well as how smarter utility rate design and virtual power plants can relieve grid congestion while lowering costs for new, large-scale electricity loads.

Speakers include:

  • CJ Colavito - GM of Integrated Project Teams, Standard Solar

  • Jim Kurtz - President and Founder, RER Energy Group

  • Alex Kragie - Sr. Director, Business Development, Sunstone Credit
