Context Engineering Meetup
Context Engineering is the discipline of designing and building dynamic systems that provide the right information and tools, in the right format, at the right time, to give an LLM everything it needs to accomplish a task.
Good context engineering in production systems comes from domain expertise, data structuring choices, and low-level technical decisions.
Let's develop an intuition behind good context engineering together and apply it in practice with concrete use cases.
We'll show how to structure your data to make it work for you, then use vector search and graph database tooling to engineer context for agentic assistants.
Everyone is welcome! Come to learn hands-on or by listening, bring your use case, or watch others. We'd be happy to see you! :)
Schedule
18:00 - 18:10 Doors open, gathering
18:10 - 18:25 Intro to context engineering meetup & its sponsors.
18:25 - 19:05 “From Raw Data to Queryable Structures: The High Level Decisions That Make All the Difference” (Rob Caulk, AskNews)
Rob will open the last 10 minutes of the talk to live data structuring consulting, bring your data, and get expert advice!
19:05 - 19:10 Break
19:10 - 19:55 “Context Engineering for Agentic Medical Research Assistant using Vector Search and Graph Database Tooling” (Evgeniya Sukhodolskaya, Qdrant & Niels de Jong, Neo4j)
You can make it hands-on or just listen & learn, whatever style you prefer!
19:55 - 20:00 Closing note
20:00 - 21:30 Networking with refreshments, let's get to know each other & discuss context engineering pains!
About Organizers
Rob Caulk, founder of AskNews. Coined the term Context Engineering years ago & currently running the world’s largest news knowledge graph on the planet.
Evgeniya Sukhodolskaya, Qdrant’s Developer Relations. Qdrant is a German open source Vector Search Engine written in Rust, a default retrieval layer in many context engineering pipelines.

Context Engineering for Agentic Medical Research Assistant Using Vector Search and Graph Database Tooling
Let's study a concrete example of context engineering in medical research. We'll look at a medical copilot equipped with Qdrant-based vector search and Neo4j-based graph tooling.
We'll cover:
Which Qdrant (Vector Search) and Neo4j (Graph Database) tools make sense in this use case;
How the medical assistant uses them for context mining;
Qdrant (Vector search system) setup-related choices to consider early when building scalable context engineering tooling.
