NYCW Ocean Happy Hour
🌊 The ocean community is coming to Climate Week. Here's where we are all meeting:
Sustainable Ocean Alliance, Seabird Ventures, and Reciprocal are taking over a corner of the West Park Beer Garden on Thursday, September 24. Come by anytime between 7 and 9. Expect good company, a steady supply of ocean puns, and a round of ocean bingo...optional, but highly encouraged.
Who'll be there: founders building in aquaculture, ocean data, maritime decarbonization, and fisheries. Investors who are deep in an ocean thesis, and investors still figuring out whether they have one. Philanthropies and NGO folks. And students and early-career people who want into this space and haven't yet worked out who to talk to...genuinely, just come!
We will run a few light activities through the evening: ocean trivia and a bingo card engineered to make you talk to a stranger, so nobody has to do the cold-open thing alone.
It is a no-host bar, so you will be free to grab your own drink. We're bringing the people and the excuse; the garden is part of Oceana Group, so the beer is good and the oysters are even better.
Drop in for ten minutes or stay the whole two hours. Either is the right answer. It is just steps away from the Rockefeller Center.
