Ode to Love Bard & Brew with Austin Shakespeare

​Our speaker, Dr. Patrick Gray, will give us insider information on that killer couple, the Macbeths, before they hit the stage this weekend at the Rollins Theatre. Austin Shakespeare actors, Chuck Winkler and Liz Zimmerman, will bring the Bard’s words to life - just the way we like it!

​The Bard’s dominant love theme across his stories is that LOVE CONQUERS OR DESTROYS. He’s got something for everyone: comic love, tragic love; young love, old love, love lost and found; forbidden love, familial love, fraternal love, infernal love; maternal love, magical love, lustful love, and love that maybe isn’t really love at all.
