Topsoil Tuesday: Northern Corn Belt
At the Sustainable Agriculture Summit, join Indigo to explore the future of regenerative agriculture in the Northern Corn Belt. If you have personal or business connections to the Northern Corn Belt, or you’re just interested in learning more, please join us!
It is estimated that a third of all topsoil in the corn belt has already been lost, resulting in nearly $3 BILLION in annual economic losses (Thaler et al. 2021). On night one of our Priority Landscapes happy hour series, we will discuss how the Northern Corn Belt faces mounting pressure from soil degradation and erosion, and practical ways to collaborate with farmers to address these shared challenges.
We look forward to chatting with you about how Indigo’s tools, farmer networks, and partnerships can converge to drive efficient, landscape-level change, and how collective action can turn environmental risk into opportunity.
Note: this happy hour is intended for Sustainable Ag Summit participants
