Claude Code + HeyGen: Scripting and Producing AI Videos at Scale

​HeyGen makes video creation fast. Pick an avatar, paste a script, generate.

​But here's where most people get stuck: the script.

​Bad scripts make awkward videos. Writing good scripts takes time. And if you're producing multiple videos—different topics, different audiences, different languages—the bottleneck isn't HeyGen. It's everything that happens before you hit generate.

​Claude Code fixes the bottleneck.

​In this workshop, you'll use Claude Code to handle the pre-production work—research, scriptwriting, formatting, and organizing assets—so you can feed HeyGen exactly what it needs to produce quality videos.

​You'll learn:

• ​Writing video scripts optimized for AI avatars (pacing, tone, natural speech patterns)

• ​Batch scripting for multiple videos in a single session

• ​Structuring scripts for different formats (explainers, promos, training, outreach)

• ​Organizing your video projects and assets locally with Claude Code

• ​Creating a repeatable pre-production workflow you can use for any video project

​By the end, you'll have produced a video from scratch—and built a system for creating more without starting from zero every time.

​NOTE: You'll need a HeyGen account. Free tier has limitations, but you can follow along and generate at least one video.

​Claude Code requires a paid plan. You'll need either a Claude Pro subscription ($20/month) or an Anthropic API key with at least $5 credit.

​No prior Claude Code experience required, but completing the Local Tasks workshop first will help.
