Utah Blockchain & Digital Innovation Event
UBC is excited to announce an upcoming collaborative event on June 18 that will bring together leaders from government, industry, and Utah’s growing blockchain ecosystem for a conversation about the future of digital asset innovation in the state.
The event is being organized in partnership with the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) and grew out of conversations that began earlier this spring at the Digital Chamber’s DC Blockchain Summit in Washington, D.C. During the summit, UBC was awarded a Digital Chamber State Network Microgrant recognizing the work being done in Utah to support blockchain education, collaboration, and industry engagement. Those conversations helped spark a broader discussion around Utah’s role in the future of blockchain innovation and how the state can continue building meaningful connections between policymakers, entrepreneurs, educators, and emerging technology leaders.
The June 18 event will feature legislators, Governor’s Office representatives, industry leaders, founders, and members of Utah’s blockchain community discussing where the state is headed in areas like blockchain innovation, digital assets, economic development, and technology policy. The goal is not only to explore the future of the industry in Utah, but also to connect blockchain innovation to the larger picture of business growth, infrastructure, and long-term economic opportunity in the state.
As national conversations around blockchain and digital assets continue evolving rapidly, Utah is increasingly positioning itself as a state interested in approaching the technology thoughtfully and collaboratively. This event is intended to help continue that dialogue while bringing together voices from across the ecosystem to discuss opportunities, challenges, and the road ahead.
