Under the Moon: The Third Space

​Join us on Friday, May 15 for a special iteration of Under the Moon: The Third Space.

​Inspired by one of our students, Sydney Gong, whose film explores the essential role of third spaces for human flourishing, and their scarcity in the city, we decided to create our very own.

​Third spaces are the "places outside of the home (the first place) and the workplace (the second place) where people go to converse with others and connect with their community."

​Slow down, connect, and learn mending and upcycling with guest textile artist Mary Zaradich 🪡

​At your own pace, catch our student films in the film lounge upstairs — including Syd's — or just have a cup of tea, and unwind in cozy corners 🍵

​Here On Earth is a climate-focused youth art and filmmaking initiative in NYC that supports teens and young adults in telling environmental stories through film, sound, and creative media — with a strong focus on water, place, and care for the natural world.

​About Global Family for Love and Peace

​Global Family for Love and Peace (GFLP) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to cultivating a world of mutual understanding, compassion, and nonviolence. Through collective efforts, GFLP focuses on environmental education and peace programs engaging youth groups. GFLP is in Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
