TechWalk | Phoenix, 11/1
Join tech professionals, entrepreneurs, and business leaders in Phoenix for a relaxed, one hour walk in the Phoenix Mountains Preserve. TechWalk is a different kind of networking: get outside, meet new people, enjoy some fresh air, and practice mindful movement. Think of it as a healthy alternative to the usual happy hour. All are welcome.
The route
About 2 miles out and back on Trail 100 (Charles M. Christiansen Trail) from the 40th St. Trailhead. It's a wide dirt trail with gentle grades, so no hiking experience needed. We'll pause three times along the way to regroup and mix up conversations, and take a group photo at the turnaround.
Schedule (Arizona time)
7:50 AM: Arrive and check in by the trailhead restrooms
8:00 AM: Welcome and quick intros
8:05 AM: Walk starts
9:00 AM: Back at the trailhead
What to bring
Water, a hat, sunscreen, and comfortable closed-toe shoes. Restrooms and water are at the trailhead.
Parking
The trailhead lot at 9200 N 40th St fits about 30 cars and fills up on weekend mornings. Please carpool if you can. Overflow parking is along N 40th St just north of the lot. In the map below, the trailhead lot is the teal box and the street parking is the red box.
