

Earth Month Jam!
🌞 As the sun starts to come out again, Basilica Bio is going outside! On April 11th, from 1-4pm, join us at Beacon Food Forest for Earth Month Jam. Together, we will celebrate our earth, food, and soil. 🌞
🪕 Our afternoon will be soundtracked by the amazing local band Fairweather Foes. Through a mix of interactive activities, live music, and accessible educational materials, we’ll build community awareness around food justice, soil health, and natural resource management. Stay tuned to hear who's coming: King County Public Health, Beacon Food Forest Youth education team, and more! 🪕
Together, we will:
Develop community goals for increasing food accessibility
Learn about local food systems and seasonal produce
Understand the importance of soil health
Connect with community organizations
Celebrate our earth through song, art, and conversation
