From Silicon Valley to Sydney: Bringing the Clean Energy Test Bed Model Down Under
Early-stage climate tech founders struggle to access affordable, independent testing for their technologies. Built on California’s successful CalTestBed model, AusTestBed could offer Australian innovators access to a network of advanced test facilities including universities and research centres to de-risk hardware, validate performance, and fast-track commercial deals through equity free regranting.
At the official launch of our AusTestBed pilot join special guest David Hochschild, Chair of the California Energy Commission, the founders in the program, and EnergyLab and New Energy Nexus experts to find out how you could plug into this new national testing platform.
Speakers:
David Hochschild - Chair, California Energy Commission
Danny Kennedy - Director, Global Solar Council
Andrew Chang - CEO, New Energy Nexus
Gabriella Nunes - Director, Research & Commercialisation, TRaCE
John Wood - CEO, Gelion
Julie Leung - Founder, Powerblocks
Mehrdad Parsa - Founder & CEO, CarboPhite
