Social Impact-a-thon: 4BetterFutures
The Centre for Social Enterprise is hosting a student Social Impact-a-thon called 4BetterFutures!
Do you care about building a future that’s not just sustainable — but regenerative? One where we give back more than we take, restore what’s been lost, and design systems that help people and the planet thrive?
If you're passionate about tackling issues like climate change, food systems, social justice, or community resilience — and you're excited by bold, creative ideas for a better world — this event is for you!
Whether it's rethinking how we build our cities, reimagining the way we produce and consume, or creating spaces for healing and renewal — this is your chance to be part of something big.
Register now to save your spot!
Meet other changemakers, collaborate with community leaders, win cash prizes, AND enjoy delicious food catered by local social enterprises!
You’ll work in teams of 2–4 students (no team yet? No worries — we’ll help you find one at the event!) Come up with your own idea/solution related to the topic, and pitch it at the event!
CASH AWARDS FOR 1ST, 2ND & 3RD PLACE!
Open to all Memorial University students. In-person only at the Social Changemaker Space (BN-4015), Business Administration Building.
Dates: November 21 & 22, 2025
DEADLINE TO REGISTER: Monday, November 17
