zWorks Monthly Meetup - What Is Accessibility and Why Is It Important?

​The zWorks Monthly Meetup is an opportunity for entrepreneurs and community leaders to come together, network, and learn something new - all free of charge.

​The agenda for our May 2026 meetup is as follows:

• ​6:00 pm - Networking Hour. Over drinks and snacks, this is the time to meet new people and hear about the exciting things they are working on.

• ​7:00 pm - Entrepreneur Interview. An exciting founder will be interviewed to give the crowd a detailed understanding of how their business works.

• ​7:30 pm - What Is Accessibility and Why Is It Important? Jared Wade will educate the crowd on accessibility, including new laws requiring state and local governments (serving 50,000+ people) and public colleges to comply with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards for websites, mobile apps, and digital content under Title II of the American Disabilities Act.
