​Massimiliano Maggi brings over 20 years of experience in strategy, corporate finance, and business transformation to help founders and investors unlock value in complex and fast-evolving environments.

​Having originated and executed multi-million-pound transactions across more than 20 countries, Massimiliano combines deep strategic insight with hands-on execution. His experience spans investor readiness, full-cycle dealmaking, value creation, strategic planning, and execution.

​Throughout his career, he has worked with companies across multiple stages — from early-stage and scale-up ventures building investor readiness and market positioning, to multinational corporates pursuing acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic realignment. Today, he supports defence tech, dual-use innovation, and frontier industries, helping founders translate cutting-edge technology into sustainable business and investment outcomes.

​Massimiliano also serves as a NATO DIANA mentor, supporting emerging innovators driving resilience and technological sovereignty within the Alliance. 

​Alongside his advisory work, he is a Professor of Mergers and Acquisitions at Hult International Business School and Ashridge Executive Education. He holds an MSc in International Strategy and Diplomacy from the London School of Economics, an MBA from Hult (Boston and Shanghai), and a Degree in Economics and Business from the University of Bari. He is also a qualified accountant and a member of Chatham House.
