A rising Silicon Valley startup, Command Center, is hosting a New Year–themed hackathon! 🌅
The prize money is $5,000 (approx. ¥770,000).
🪩 What is the De-Vibed Hackathon? 🪩
This hackathon goes against the “vibe coding” boom and focuses on competing in code quality and software design skills.
About halfway through the development time, a technical challenge will be announced.
In short-term, AI-assisted development, the key differentiator will be how well you can write code that is resilient to change.

Will using AI result in a penalty?
AI use is encouraged. The theme is how effectively you can leverage AI in a short development period to build a high-quality application.
Can we participate as a team?
Yes, up to 4 people per team. Please list all members’ names and the email addresses registered with Luma on the application form.
If your team is not finalized, participant matching will be arranged on the event day.
Can I participate alone?
Yes, solo participation is welcome.
Where will the event be held?
LODGE, LY Corporation Head Office, Tokyo
Is it okay if I don’t speak English?
Some judges and sponsors are English speakers, but the event itself will be conducted in Japanese.
Can I participate online?
No, this is an in-person–only event.
