The Mixer: making p(OR)tland home.

​On Friday December 27th, The Mixer will bring people together over an intimate evening titled: “Making Portland Home.” As The Mixer plans to connect and bridge the gap between Black professionals and the place we now call home, this event acts as a catalyst for people to gain fellowship in the Portland Metropolitan area as one seeks to thrive in business/work and in their everyday life.

​The in-person event themed “Making Portland Home” is an annual community mixer connecting individuals to share stories and their true to life experiences on how they are thriving and developing both as individuals or as a community. The well attended event (100 - 150) people is highly encouraged for members of the community who wish to establish personal and professional connections while creating new opportunities.

​The event structure will follow the following outline: 

​Connect: Social hour, networking, red carpet, and photos over food and beverages 

​Learn: Artificial Intelligence in our everyday life +  resources 

​Thrive: Build rapport with others in a safe, fun and community environment and obtain other resources
