Valley of Saints: Film Screening + Q&A with Director Musa Syeed
Join us at Minara for a special screening of Valley of Saints, a lyrical film set on the waters of Dal Lake in Kashmir. The story follows a young boatman navigating love, environmental change, and the rhythms of everyday life, offering a quiet, intimate portrait of a place and its people.
The film received the World Dramatic Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival in 2012 and tied for the Alfred P. Sloan Prize with Robot & Frank. Director Musa Syeed will be present for a post-screening conversation and Q&A with the audience.
Our café will be open starting at 1 PM, with Kashmiri items featured on the menu. We hope you’ll join us for an afternoon of film, reflection, and dialogue.
