About Event

This interactive workshop is designed for advanced users with foundational design experience. Move beyond passive demos and step into the driver’s seat of a real product design workflow.

Together with Ruzanna, you’ll build a mobile app concept from scratch, using Figma Make AI to generate initial designs. The focus shifts from technical execution to high-level design critique, UX logic, and prompt refinement. Experience firsthand how AI accelerates design, but why human judgment, empathy, and manual refinement remain essential to ship a polished product.

This session will be run by Ruzanna Margaryan in collaboration with CAWEB from the University of Strasbourg

This workshop is designed for:

✔ Mid-level to senior designers

✔ Product managers & UX leads

✔ Developers with design curiosity

✔ Design educators & team leads

Prerequisite: Basic familiarity with design principles (e.g., hierarchy, usability) and comfortable with Figma.

What would you gain?

✅ Co-define a product concept and translate ideas into structural AI prompts.

✅ Critically evaluate AI-generated UI layouts against usability and aesthetic standards.

✅ Understand the concept of "prompt-driven iteration" to improve design outputs.

✅ Identify where AI capabilities end and human design value (hierarchy, accessibility, consistency) begins.

This webinar is powered by the Certification in Usability, Accessibility, and UX Design (CAWEB) from the University of Strasbourg.

The Certificate in Usability and UX Design offers focused, professional-level training for creating user-centered digital experiences. The program strengthens both theoretical understanding and hands-on UX skills, preparing participants for real-world challenges in digital product design.

Fully online and accessible worldwide, the program is designed to integrate seamlessly with your professional or personal life. It provides the flexibility essential for working professionals, career changers, and creatives balancing other commitments.

About Employed.world:

We support the design and product community in Berlin by connecting them with empathic mentors, job coaches, and professionals who are currently working - or have worked - in companies across the city and have been involved in hiring. We also connect you with current hiring managers, giving you the chance to receive guidance and feedback tailored to your personal challenges. From speaking with job seekers, we’ve learned that many lack clear, honest feedback on their profiles and applications. Some need help identifying their strengths so they can stand out among hundreds of candidates. Others feel there just aren’t enough relevant opportunities and wonder: what’s the strategy to find—or even create—the right role for you?
We also offer a 1:1 mentorship program funded by the Agentur für Arbeit/Jobcenter, through the job center.
