Education in the Age of AI: What Happens to University Learning?

AI is already changing how we study, teach and work. So what does that mean for university?

Speakers

Shafi Maahe - Co-founder & CEO of 1soul.ai and Chair of the Imperial AI Society. He's also co-founder of Moment AI Ventures, Europe's first cross-campus venture studio, and is studying for an MEng at Imperial College London.

Dr Sarah Moffatt Stephens - Founder & CEO of Smart Justice and Associate Professor in Legal Innovation at the University of Sussex. Her work focuses on AI, justice and digital reform.

Kay Yung - Knowledge Lawyer (AI & Innovation) at Legal Ai, a digital legal assistant. She's also a volunteer with LawCare.

We'll dig into questions like:

  • How will AI change the way students actually learn?

  • What happens to essays, exams and assessment?

  • Where's the line between using AI as a tool and cheating?

  • Will AI make education more accessible, or widen the gap?

  • What should universities keep, and what should they reinvent?

This isn't a debate about whether AI is good or bad. It's a conversation about how education adapts to a world where AI is part of everyday life.

Bring your questions, opinions and experiences, and join the conversation.
