The "dual-use" market — cutting-edge deep tech applied across both defense and civilian domains — has expanded rapidly across Europe and the US. In Japan, shifting defense policy and new procurement needs are drawing attention to startups, cross-industry corporates, and investors well beyond the traditional defense industry.
This session pairs Plug and Play Japan's ecosystem access with EDTH's European defense tech pipeline to open a concrete Europe–Japan bridge: startups looking to cross between the two markets, and the investors, corporates, and government stakeholders who can make that crossing real. The program features expert sessions, pitches from startups with frontier technologies, and extended networking.
