サクラマスのラストワルツ / A Trout and the Last Walz

​『ミルクの中のイワナ』から2年、坂本麻人監督が今度はヤマメとサクラマスを通じて、森・川・海をつなぐ「流域」のあり方を見つめる。研究者や水産関係者らの証言を交え、ダムや放置林、再生可能エネルギー開発などが自然と地域の暮らしに及ぼす影響をたどり、人間社会と自然界の関係を問い直す。

​Following the question raised in A Trout in the Milk, filmmaker Asato Sakamoto turns from the char of mountain headwaters to yamame and sakuramasu, fish whose life cycle links forests, rivers and the sea. Through researchers, fishery workers and local voices, the film traces the natural and cultural life of watersheds and considers how dams, abandoned forests and renewable-energy development alter the relationship between society and the natural world.
