Salon And Supper Social is a casual soirée series for the art industry's professionals, patrons, and artists to meet, mingle, and have more impactful conversations.
Each gathering is anchored by themed conversation cards and mixer sessions, alongside creatively designed bites and low-ABV drinks all evening.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Each evening includes:
💬 periodic prompts for new connections - on theme!
🖼️ a special exhibition viewing with leading emerging artists
🍢🍦 a lite spread of savory & sweet bites by creative chefs/food artists
🍺🍷 low-ABV drinks
👥 a medium-sized mingle by design (45 people max)
Timeline:
6:30pm | Event starts
7:15pm -7:30pm | Mixer session with convo prompts
8pm-8:10pm | Exhibition intro with the gallery director
8:30pm | Final group convo prompt
9pm | Event ends

ABOUT S.A.S.S.
Salon And Supper Social (fka Supper Social) started in June 2025 as an antidote to the cycle of too crowded, too loud, and too late art world happenings. This one's for all the advocates and facilitators who make the ecosystem go 'round - curators, gallerists, advisors, writers, producers, art handlers, fabricators, et al.
It's where you can be yourself and still network.
Where just the right amount of people means you can have actually meaningful conversations.
Where food & drinks is an energizer, not the main character.
You are the centerpiece.
Dreamed up and organized by independent curator Lauren Hirshfield, SASS is inspired by salons and series like A'Lelia Walker’s “The Dark Tower” and Dali’s “Les Dîners”. Lauren hopes this event brings the emerging art world together in a more intimate, intentional, and inspiring way.
