Miami | Building with Claude: AI for ocean conservation
Join a Claude Community Event, organized by local enthusiasts for everyone who loves building with Claude!
We're bringing two groups into the same room at REEF's campus in Key Largo: local ocean and nature organizations, and developers and AI experts travelling down from Miami.
Everyone gets matched into small groups and works on a real problem together.
Who we'd love to join:
Ocean and nature nonprofits in the Keys Conservation, restoration and marine science 501(c)(3)s working across the Keys. Come with a live challenge from your own work grant reporting, survey data you can't get into a usable shape, volunteer comms, donor updates, the write-up that's been sitting there for months. For a sense of the kind of thing we mean, REEF's own list includes better data tools for the Volunteer Fish Survey Project and 30 years of conservation photos and video that need organizing. No prior experience with Claude needed.
Developers and AI experts from Miami Builders who want to put their skills toward ocean and nature work. You'll be matched with a local organization and spend the day on their actual challenge, not a hypothetical one. Transportation from Miami can be provided, so let us know when you register if you need a seat.
Groups stay matched across both workshop sessions, so what gets started in the morning gets finished in the afternoon.

Spaces are limited and every registration is reviewed. Matching only works if the two groups are balanced, so tell us which one you're joining when you register, and whether you need transportation from Miami.
