Audio Buffer London
Audio Buffer is our monthly meet-up for audio developers and creative technologists - bridging the gap between academic theory and the gritty reality of releasing professional audio products.
Led by Sinan Bokesoy (sonicLAB / sonicPlanet) and hosted by MTUK, Audio Buffer is aimed at anyone developing software-based music tools, be they music tech students, or those working as composers, sound designers, and other creative technologists.
In a world of online isolation, we provide a physical workshop-style environment to build, network, and stress-test ideas.
Session #01
Title: The Modern Stack: Dismantling the Audio Engine
Join us at H.O.M.E for the inaugural session of Audio Buffer London. We are performing an autopsy on the modern audio stack, exploring how creative ideas evolve from raw code into living audio environments.
We'll explore the Environmental Design of audio—the intersection of DSP, UI/UX, and the art of coding that creates the tools musicians actually want to create with.
Space is limited to 15 seats to maintain a high-fidelity conversation.
The Agenda
16:00 | The Deep Dive: From Seed to Signal Chain Led by Sinan Bokesoy and a guest professional, we trace the evolution of an audio tool. We move from the initial conceptual seed to a production-grade signal chain, revealing how professional developers navigate through the workflow.
16:45 | Student Prototypes: Under the Hood Live "Code & UI" reviews. This is the core of the workshop. Local students present their work-in-progress for candid, expert feedback. No polish required; we want to see the engine and the logic beneath the surface.
17:30 | The Roundtable: The 2026 Workflow An open discussion with Sinan and visiting professionals. We tackle the questions about the skills, tech stacks, and workflows actually required to innovate.
