​Personally discovered by Denzel Washington for The Great Debaters, Rider has built a repertoire of powerful roles across film and television. His credits include The Butler and What Lies Under the Tree, as well as his standout turn as Blake Tower in Daredevil and Luke Cage.

​Currently, Rider stars in HBO’s It: Welcome to Derry, where his emotional performance as the father of a child targeted by Pennywise the Clown has become one of the season’s most talked-about arcs. Set in the eerie world of 1960s Maine, the series expands Stephen King’s chilling universe.
