Datura Style: Intermediate Technique Thursdays | 75 Minutes
Datura Style belly dance is a fusion approach known for its slow, muscular, and "gooey" technique. This class focuses on the bio-mechanics of this style to help you understand, experience, and integrate the fundamentals.
Each class begins with a slow opening sequence to "oil" the joints, followed by isolation drills. Once we're thoroughly warmed up, we'll turn our attention to a combination that incorporates those drills. We'll end with a short, stretchy cool down.
What to bring: Please bring a yoga mat and bottled water. This class is created with the intermediate student in mind, but anyone who loves working on essentials is welcome to join. One year of belly dance experience is recommended.
